merlin magic with merlin messaging cant transfer out of mail box 1

have a merlin magic with messaging once in a ext box and given the prompt (to transfer to another ext press *8 and ext # )the calls dont go to new ext they go to main consol>The 2 digit is set for direct ext transfer in the messaging(my exts r in 2xx range.

The ports for the Merlin Messaging must be "retary enabled" in order to transfer:
Sys Programming>Start>Extensions>Rotary Enable
Enter the extensions of the voicemail ports.
