I have been doing this for 8 years know and realize that there is a work around for almost everything.
I currently have two Legend R6.1 system tied together using a Point to Point T-1. The client wants a DID number to be assigned as a new phone number for a new business that they are starting. Unfortunaly 1/2 of the people for the new company are located at Node1 and and the other 1/2 are at Node2, but they still want incoming calls to ring at each node. I have tried coverage buttons and am not able to assign them between nodes.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You probably want to read up on the SYSTEM PLANNING, the NETWORKING, and the FEATURES documents. All are downloadable from AVAYA's website.

These should give you enough background for your project. They may have some FAQs also.

Hope this helps!

Can you be a little more specific? Do they want the SAME Single DID number to ring at both locations, or do they want DID's to ring at both locations?

The client wants the same DID number to ring at both locations either at the same time or on a delayed basis.
