What is the default username and password and where do I plug my modem into on this switch?

Have you ever worked on a Merlin system before?

We can't give out passwords on the forum. The Legend has a built-in modem. In addition, you need the SPM software to program the system. I'd suggest hiring a tech if you haven't done this before.

As ex said, we can't discuss passwords. The MODEM is for DIAL UP access, but the System also allows for DIRECT RS232 Port access as well. However, once you directly connect to the ADMIN Port, you won't need a password.

You would need a 355 A (or AF) adapter, probably a 9 to 25 Pin adapter, and what ever gender changers your PC/Laptop requires to make the DIRECT connection.

And, again as ex said, SPM Software. That can be found by searching these forums.
