Merlin Legend ??? 1

I have a prospect that asked if I would support his Merlin Legend system. Before I go check this relic out:

- How would I get the release number from the system?
- I've heard of WinSPM-how would the PC interface with the system? (I'm sure this may be release specific)
- Would anyone know the approximate dates each release was introduced? (I may have to up-sell)

SPKR *05 will show you the release on the display

WinSPM connects through a 355A adapter to the Admin port on the Legend processor, and a Serial Port on your PC, OR, you can use a modem and connect to a single line port on the Legend, or call in, answer yourself, and transfer yourself to the internal modem

Grab the "Pocket Reference" for a Legend R7 from the Avaya support site, this will list the various releases, their dates, and the features that were added with each release.
