I'm using a Merlin Legend in my home, 3 lines appear on all MLX phones. I also want to add a few Trimline and Bell System Designer phones, so I'm adding the 016 Basic Telephone w/ ring gen module. So how do I program the single line sets to ring on a specific CO line? And 2nd, when a single line phone user dials 9, where do I do the programming to assign a CO line? I'm not using any pooled lines, in Keysystem mode. I have all the manuals, but so far haven't found the section that explains my 2 questions. Thanks for any help!

When you're programming telephones, they all appear as 28 button sets (single line phones, 5 button multiline sets, 10 button sets, etc) So just assign the lines to the buttons above the Intercom buttons like a multiline Then use Automatic Line Select to set the order of lines, starting with Intercom.

Thanks; it's actually works the same as the Merlin Plus when you used a BTMI on a station port. One more question... I saw a picture of 2 European style MLX phones that had the displays lit, blue characters. One was the Merlin Magix 4424LD+. Will this work on the Legend if you use the 016 ETR 16 Enhanced Tip/Ring Telephone?

016 ETR supports Partner ACS phones, not Merlin Magix phones. Partner 18D Eurostyle II would work with that module.
