Merlin Legend R7.0 with Magix Messaging 2.5, Compatible?

I currently have a Merlin Legend R7.0, I was running a Intuity Audix VoiceMail but this is now dead. I am replacing this with a Magix Messaging 2.5 (6 port or 12 port) voice mail. Is this compatible with the R7.0? Thanks again in advance, I do appreciate the help.

Yes, Messaging 2.5 will work with the 7.0.

However, the "AUTO CONFIG" Feature available with Magix, is not available with the R7.0.

A later model Magix processor would save a ton of time in setting up the mailboxes for you.

Assuming the Legend processor you have is a CKE4 - AND you are not using any BIS-type analog phones in the system - you could also upgrade your processor to Magix software and take advantage of the better integration with Magix Messaging. A CKE4 Legend processor can run the latest Magix software.

On the Messaging, make sure to configure the voice mail extensions as "rotary enabled" of the AA won't transfer calls. Otherwise the 2 system are similar. The programming intereface with Merlin Messaging is great.
