WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE AN MLX SET WILL WORK?

I have several MLX10s, MLX16s, and MLX20Ls working fine at over 600 feet from the KSU (but around 400' of that is #22 with the remainder #24). If you need to connect a DSS to an MLX20L then you will need the auxillary power supply for probably anything over 200'.

i read some place that it was 1000 feet, but, i can't find it again. another person told me the mlx set will work at 3000 feet, but, i don't think so.

From the pony's mouth--the max loop range for an MLX set is 3000 feet. That's a lotta wire.
