I have a Merlin Legend With a 7.0 R14 Processor W/Expansion Carrier. My problem is we recently had a bad lightning storm. Since then i have replaced the expansion carrier 3 016ETR cards and a powersupply. The thing i am having trouble with is on certain extensions they will lose power momentairly and then come back on, and continue to do so. But if i move that phone to a unused extension it does not do this. Can someone please shed some light on this situation.

A lightning strike can do all sorts of damage to phones as well as modules and their ports. It is likely that either the port and/or module the phones are plugged into (that have the problem) are damaged. So busy out the "bad" ports and renumber the extention to a different port. If a phone has a problem on a known "good" port - then the phone circuit board may have been damaged.

Tom has some excellent ideas here. Over at the other help site that this question was posted at, I also mentioned another something to consider.
