Merlin Legend Outside Dial Tone Problem

I'm working on a Legend with R7 software and extension 102 stopped being able to dial 9 for an outside line. I checked programming of the extension and even verified it was the same for the lines as ext 101. Any help for things to try is appreciated.

Could be a telephone problem. Try the same phone at a different extension or swap phones at the existing extension and see if the problem goes away.

I swapped phones and it did not fix the problem that's why I think it's something in programming or an actual port failure. Anything else??
 
If you have like modules - try swapping modules - and see if the problem follows the module. If so - possibly a bad port. I assume you tried resetting the module the the extension is plugged in to.

This is the first 408 module in the system. This module has 100-107 and lines 1-4. I changed out the third module from digital extensions to analog extensions and then renumbered. During this process I did power down and then the renumbering rebooted the system. The 102 outside line problem was there before I arrived and did not change through everything I did.

I do have a like module to replace the first module in the system. Since it's the same type do I have to renumber the system again? By the way when I press 9 I get the warble tone only on this extension.

If you swap the module out with the same type of card - you do not have to renumber. If the problem disappears - then it was a bad port.

Print the extension info with SPM, and you will see what is wrong.

There are 8 ways to software restrict an extension.
