Merlin Legend options for VOIP gateways

Hello,

We have a Merlin Legend R3.1 v2.0 - don't mind upgrading the processor but would like to avoid upgrading the whole system.

According to the Microsoft website, Merlin Legend is a supported PBX (Avaya Magix/Merlin use MediaPack 11x/FXO/AC/SIP-0)

However I have been told by a couple of people that this is not possible (although ulterior motives may have been in place).

Has anyone successfully integrated Exchange unified messaging with a Merlin Legend using the recommended or any other VoIP gateway?

merlin legend does not use voip signaling. it may be interfaced with a voip device by means of some sort of fxo/fxs device. this may be referenced by the "fxo" bit in the mediapack 11 product name you used. some converting analog connection device may be required in the solution you seek.
