Merlin Legend Mail Soft Reset

I have a Merlin Legend Mail that is locking up from time to time. I was wondering if anyone has a way to do a soft reset on the mail. I had the same problem on Partner messaging and Merlin messaging and it fixed the problem. All I want to do is reset the mail and save all translations. I have the password to get in, I just need to do a soft reset. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. Thanks, Sean

If it is the MLM007 there 2 little holes in the front that you put a paper clip into. One is for the modem one is for the VM just press in the VM one

Which version of Merlin Legend Mail do you have? Is it an 007 MLM? Is it a Merlin Mail R3.0? They are all a little different. I know of no "soft" reset in the Merlin Mail R3. There is a "soft" reset in Merlin Messaging. The 007 MLM has a "Reset" slot on the front top of the module that requires your pushing in a small button (using a paperclip) that performs the equivalent of a "soft" reset. I don't believe there is an equivalent for the Merlin Mail R3. All you can do on that system is reinitialize the system - which wipes out all programming, announcements,etc.

Cycling the power on the External Merlin mail R3 is equivelnt to pressing the reset on MLM007. The reset button is on the MLM so you don't have to shut down the Whole phone system.
