Merlin Legend Mail COS 1

Hello,

We use a Merlin Legend Mail system at one of our locations. I want to know which class of service and how Im supposed to configure a voicemail box that is essentially a submenu greeting that will transfer to 3 different bulletin boards. I know that COS 19 can be used for the bulletin board service but I want to know which COS I can use for the sub-menu extension.

Rather than using a bulletin board mailbox, you would actually use a submenu off of one of the auto attendant's selector codes, which would then have its selector codes pointed to the bulletin board mailboxes.

I am using a submenu that is a mailbox. It is #1504. What I need to know is, what COS should that mailbox be since it is a submenu that has 3 selector codes?

You're correct on the COS for the bulletin board box, but there is no "submenu" box, submenus can only be administered through the System Administrator's mailbox. If 1504 is answering and giving you a "submenu" that routes to the three bulletin boxes, it is really one of the 3 Auto Attendants. Go to mailboxes, play a mailbox configuration, and play 1504's configuration. Find out what its COS is. It should 15, 16, or 17, which will point it to Auto Attendant No. 1, 2, or 3. Then you will know which Auto Attendant greeting to change.

Tommy, you were right about this. For some reason I thought that the sub menu had to point to a mailbox for it to work. I dug around the menus and realized that I had it all wrong. Its all working fine now. Thanks again.
