Hi

I have an extension (37) and it's associated MB (class of service 2) that won't pick up when outside calls are routed to it. The line just rings.

I can forward messages to the mailbox from other extensions and the user controllable items (PW, greeting, etc) all seem to work..

The mailbox was new as of a few weeks ago, don't know if that extension ever had a mailbox before..

Any ideas what could cause this problem?

If I have to I'll just switch the user to a new ext, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

THX in advance

It needs to be apart of mailbox coverage on the system-side. From the 20L or WinSPM: Menu, Sys Prog, Exit/Start, Extensions, More, CoverGrp (or Grpcover I forget), then enter group 30. Hit inspect to make sure this is where the other extensions are listed for the system. If not, try group 1. If it is, then go ahead and add your extension to the group.

This group lets the system know to cover over to voicemail if not answered (or if no mailbox is defined it will cover to the reception).

Thank you very much, that was it. I guess 37 never had a VM box before.
