Merlin Legend - Extension 182 is supposed... 3

...to be set up as an extension phone only. However, it rings constantly as though it was set up as a receptionist's phone. How do I remove the c.o. lines from the set? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is the Phone setup in Key or PBX mode? What model is the phone? Would turning ringing off on the lines for that phone suffice?

Go to:
Extensions > Lines/Trunks > 182 > (remove all lines and or pools).

It sounds like you are in PBX, and 182 is set up as an operator. You will need to remove 182 from the operator position

Could also have cover for the operator's phone. Look at the buttons, in central programming, and see what is causing it to ring. Sys Program > Exit or Start > More > Central Programming > program > 182: then look at each button.
