I have a Merlin Legend rls 7 that provides dialtone to analog sets intermidatly. During off hours the problem go's away. This happens on all the sets on the system.
Check/test all of the TTR's in your system - if these are single-line analog phones. It is likely that some TTR's are "bad". Also check the processor error log for TTR-related errors. It is also possible that you do not have enough TTR's in your system for the number of single-lien analog phones you have plus voicemail - if you have it.
The Legend does not automatically audit the TTR's like a Magix does so you may not have TTR related entries in the error log. A magix 1.5 or newer will automatically busy out a bad ttr and put an entry in the error log. I had a customer with a Bad TTR in a MLM007 so we flashed the legend to a magix and the Magix did it's magic and disabled the bad one.
