Hi- we have a Merlin Legend R1 and a VSR voice mail. What's the best way to set it up for a delay to the voice mail- say 3 rings to give 2 operator positions a chance to answer and then roll over to the voice mail. We have the voice mail ports set up in calling group 770- thanks.

Assign the lines to another calling group, other than 770. Then set the overflow of that group to go to 770, after a certain number of seconds (about 15 to 18 for your 3 rings). You will need to create a mailbox in the voice mail with the same extension number as the calling group, and either have it take messages, or point it to the auto attendant. Not familiar with "VSR vocie mail"

Thanks- but where can you set the delay in seconds? I've gone back & forth in the programming docs and can't find it.

Did you say it is a LEGEND R1 or a MAGIX R1? You may not have these options on a Legend, and would need to upgrade the processor.

thanks- appreciate the help!
