Customer wishes to connect (5) sites (4 with Legend w\ 6.1 & 7.0, and 1 w\ Magix 2.1)with Audio Codes VOIP gateways to allow inter office communication. The plan is to renumber all sites with unique 4 digit intercom numbers (currently they are using 2, 3 and 4 digit dialing at different sites), give the users access to a line pool group that would access a FXS port, the gateway would translate for which site to send the call to the remote switch over a FXO port.

1. Renumber intercom, 4 digit
2. Set up line pool for outbound (have adequate C.O. ports)
3. Have adequate analog ext ports for inbound

Any problems with this set up? I believe intercom numbers could stay as they currently are, but with unique numbering, the translations for the gateway are the easier.

I am not sure you want to do this but look at Raddirect products. THey make a T1 to IP converter. You can have T1 out of the Magix then it goes to IP and comes back out the other end as T1. THen you can truly network them. you can even do PRI.
