merlin legend 007 MLM keeps having to be power reset 2

I have a 007 MLM that has been in service several years. Lately sometime during the night it quits working. The status light will still be green but the vm lights will be red. I power it down and back on. It works great until later night while in night service and it does it again. Is it shot or could something else be causing this? Thanks for any help
