Merlin Legend Release 6.0 V10.0 Hybrid mode.

Is there a way to program restrictions on an extension to allow calls to 800/866/877/888 toll free numbers and still restrict other toll calls?

short answer: yes

long answer: first restrict the extension through programming (menu, sys prog, exit, extension, restriction, outbound restrict or toll restrict depending upon if you want to allow local calling).

Then you need to create an allowed list and assign that allowed list to those extensions (menu, sys prog, exit, tables, allowed list, entry 00 will be 800, entry 01 will be 866, etc. then go to allowed to and assign list 0 to each extension).

This is assuming that allowed list 0 is not being used for anything else. if it is, you can use allowed list 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 or 9. whichever is not being used.
