I have a merlin magix and i need help programming coverage path between two extensions. I have x742 and after three rings the call should go to x724 and after that it should go to x742's voice mail box (Merlin voice mail).

Add a "Primary Coverage" button for Ext. 742 on Ext. 724. (At Ext. 724,press Feature 00, press an unused button with a light next to it, dial *40-742-Enter)

Then change the Primary Coverage delay for Ext. 742 to 3 rings (instead of the default 2 rings). From the console/programming phone, Menu, System Program, Exit (or Start), Extensions, More, More, Coverage Delay, Primary, 742-Enter, Backspace, 3, Enter, Home (or Exit)

Calls to 742 will ring 3 times at 742, ring on the coverage button at 724 (and continue ringing at 742), then cover to 742's voice mail. If 742 presses Do Not Disturb, calls will still ring at 724's coverage button before going to voice mail.
