can anybody give me the wiring color code for Merlin classic systems

Actually - you can use any color code you want (there's nothing magical about the sequence AT&T chose - but I guess it may be best to follow it for the sake of other tech's doing future troubleshooting) - as long as you are 100% consistent - and make the 4-pairs "straight-through" - as you would for standard ethernet cable.
