Hello,

My company has a Merlin system with a MLX-20L phone at the front desk. We recently changed service providers and went from having 10 lines to 9 lines. Our system still cycles through all 10 so every 10th person that picks up gets a dead line. What is the process for removing this line from the system?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Line 810 is now dead but it still cycles through on the phone system. When I check in POOL 70 to see if I can delete 810 it does not show up as being an active line. Any thoughts?

Confirm which lines are in pool 70, and check to see which one no longer has dial tone, then you will know which one to remove from the pool. Also check the ARS table, confirm if it is pool 70 that is being used for outgoing calls

It could be in another pool as TTT stated. Try 890 or 891. Those are the next most popular next to pool 70.
