Wondering if it is possible to have one automated attendant in use Monday through Thursday and a Second on Friday?
Or there might be a simpler way to do this.

We no longer have an operator up front answering the phone.
Incoming calls go to AA-1 and people can select their routing there or press zero for the operator (now going to extension 156)
But on Fridays that person (156) is not here so I would like the "Press Zero" option to go to Extension 155.
I had tried using secondary coverage but then any call made to 156 doesn't go to voicemail they get picked up by 155.

Thoughts & Ideas?

Do you use a Night auto attendant as well as a Day auto attendant? If you structured the Day AA to cover night as well, you could use the weekly business schedule to "close" on Friday

Yes we do use a night attendant that says we are closed and then allows the caller to go direct to the appropriate voicemail.

There are four automated attendants, how can you use the additional attendants?

You have to go into AA 2, 3, or 4, and select option 6 for line assignment. Any line NOT assigned to AA 2, 3, or 4 will be answered by 1. Not an easy process, to say the least.

Why not restructure your AA prompt, to say "You've reached Marctell Corp. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. If you know your party's extension number, dial it now, or for the Operator, press 0". Then you can do the same for the "Night" greeting, and only enable it on Fridays
