We have a Merlin Magix 3.0 and an AT&T PRI T-1. Our PBX vendor was not able to have 800 numbers that are dialed go through the T-1; they are going through POTS lines. Any ideas on how to change this so any 8XX designated numbers will be through the T-1 so that our caller ID will be displayed? TIA for any help.

In the special services table, change table 5 from a 1 to a 0. The procedure is:

sysprog
start
lines/trunks
pri
outgoing table
special service
pattern
{{pattern number 5}}
change the 1 to a 0
enter
bango, it should work

Take a look at the ARS routing table entries, and see if the outbound calls are set to go out over the T-1 or the POTS lines. Also, since it is AT&T LD Service, sometimes they won't "accept" outbound calls over a T-1. (No profit?)
Go to Sys Program>Start>More>>Print>ARS, then see if the 8XX entries are specified to go out over the POTS lines.
