Merlim Mail R3 serial number and defauld password

I am tryimng to get into my admin mailbox and what I thought was the password does not work. I fond on this site instructions using the seriakl number to reset the password. The proble I have is there appear to be 2 serial numbers. They are on small (3/8" x 1") lables that are over the edge of the housimg that say" warranty void if removed and each of the 2 tags has a different number that are sequential. one ends in 36 and the other ends in 37.

When I log into mailbox 9997 and try either of the serial numbers, I get "login incorrect , please try again". After 3 attempts, I get "Goodbye" I then rebooted . After it came up, I tried 1234# as the password and it still did not work Is there a different "default " password, or do I just not have the serial number?

A "Dial IN" session, or a Tech Visit will now be required.

I can do a "DIAL IN", IF YOU HAVE A MODEM CONNECTED.

But be careful what kind of contact info you post here.

I would suggest you "code up" your contact info and post it so we can talk by email.

Thanks. I was finally able to get in through the com port and get the serial number. I found the instruction elsewhere on this forum.

BTW what do you mean by "code up

Well, you are not supposed to use your real email and stuff, so I put mine here in "CODE".

However, the webmasters still yell about it ! ! !

But you know, they are right, I have had some people get my email when it was not so stealth and guess what, MORE SPAM!
