Installing a Merlin Messaging 2 port in a Merlin Magix.

CO Calls answered by Merlin Messaging, seem to get held long after the caller has left a message and hung up! The called CO line on the MLX sets stays lit for up to 2minutes, then the message waiting lamp comes on like it should. Calls from station to station (VM) work fine...
Any suggestion?

You may not have LINES > TT/LS Disc >Reliable Disconnect set to YES, or EVEN WORSE, you may not be getting a "FORWARD DISCONNECT" from the Central Office.

The end of a call (from the Central Office) whould be followed by a "DROP" in Loop Current to something less than 20 Miliamps. (Kinda' like turning off the light switch.)

If your central office is not providing that, this could be the problem.
