Can anyone help me with connectivity, from a Nortel option 11 PBX to a DMS100 using Qsig (ESGF)? ideally I`d like a DMS guru as I can configure the M1 for different number plan and types but I need the DMS to accept number plan/ type of "Unknown". The DMS service provider doesn`t know the tables to datafill. Many Thanks

Thanks John, but my issue really is with the DMS end. I can change the numbering plan and number type by using CTYP in DMI. However the kit tandems in the M1 with ISGF (IN) and goes (OUT) to the DMS with ESGF. The number type from the kit is "UNKNOWN" which the DMS rejects. I can modify it in the Meridian, but DMS guy wants me to help him get "UNKNOWN" to work as well. Any useful info on number plan and number types would be useful as well. Cheers. Jack

try changing the vod to vce and define a call type change in the rlb.. either of those will work. are you looking for the dms programing or the 81 interface going to the dms? i've never had to use qsig for that type switch because they speak the same lang and finding a dms tech is rare
