I have a area code that cannot be dialed. How do change it so the users are able to dial this area code?

Thanks

LD 90
REQ: New
CUST: 0
FEAT: Net
TRAN: AC1
TYPE: Npa
NPA: 1xxx (where x is area code)
RLI 8

enter thru the rest

One additional item:

Print a working AC and use the RLI as that one. RLI 8 may not be the right one for you in your PBX.

Next dumb question... how do I print a working AC?

see telcowoman's response, except replace NEW with PRT. Also at the NPA prompt, just hit the return key, it will print all NPAs associated with AC1.

Code:
REQ PRT
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE NPA
NPA 1770 (or any other you want to use)

This will give you a place to start.

From the new kid on the block!!

ld 90
REQ prt
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRANS ac1
TYPE npa
NPA 1(+use an area code already in the switch that you are able to dial. This will give you the correct RLI to add the new area code)

enter thru rest

REQ new
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRANS npa
NPA 1xxx(xxx for new area code)
RLI (enter RLI discovered from above)

enter thru rest

Good luck!
