I have a Supervisor terminal with MTE software that's trying to print a "system report", agent database to be precise. She said she's printed this report up until about a year ago and want to print it again but can't. I thought system reports could only be printed to a default printer that's hardwired to the port? She did give me a copy of the report she once printed so she did it somehow, but how? Can someone tell me how to get this to work? Thanks...

lynmar,
My users who need to print have LOCAL printing enabled. We have not had a SYSTEM printer attached for some time now. Our MTE users are ip enabled and for printing, they have to be static ip addresses. Meridian MAX will allow you to see the printers and the jobs queued etc. MTE has a nasty quirk though where printing won't work if "Multiple Occurances" has changed the resgistry. MTE version 9.22 actually provides a reset registry option. Earlier versions required manual changes to the Registry if multiple occurances of running MTE was detected. You probably should start with Meridian MAX and seeing if the IP address is the same as the PC ip address. Example of my settings in Mer MAX

lynmar,
Suggest you go the PC and verify the PC IP address. In MTE, suggest you check the person's profile to see if the reports are destined to the printer desired. If all seems well, I can attach the MTE registry reset for multiple occurances which might cause print not to be received.

lynmar,
Here's the steps for earlier MTE printing issues:
Printing a report

If you experience problems printing reports, follow these steps:
1. Invoke the Registry Editor in your Windows operating system.
For detailed information on the Registry Editor, refer to your Windows
documentation.
2. In the Registry Editor window, double-click the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
entry.
3. Double-click the MTE entry.
4. Select the NO_INSTANCES entry to verify that it shows the correct number
of MTE sessions currently running on your PC.
5. Double-click the IP_ADDRESS entry. Click each IP address to verify that
the correct address is shown.
6. If the values in the NO_INSTANCES or IP_ADDRESS entries are incorrect,
complete these steps:
* Shut down all the MTE sessions.
* Set the NO_INSTANCES value to 0.
* Delete the IP_ADDRESS entry.
7. Close the Registry Editor.
8. Ensure that your printer is configured properly and accessible from your
PC.
9. Try reconnecting to your application.
