Occasionally when a user is in their voice mail box, the message is "ringing", then twice someone actually answered the phone. Can anyone explain why that is happening? Is that something I should be concerned about?

Sounds like someone is thru-dialing through your mailbox. That is something to be worried about. Merdian Mail's Thru-dial feature is a favorite place for hackers. You should turn on Mail Box monitoring and Monitor the mailbox for a week or two. To see if someone is making international or Long Distance Calls. You should be able to get reports of all thru-dial occurances.
Here is more info on Mer Mail Hacking.
Good Luck

After playing around in MMail, I found that, that is exactly what happened. I am monitoring occasionally. Thanks
