Meridian Mail - VT220 Emulation Success Story 1

Hi again all - especially PuTTY and Hyperterminal users:

I don't have Procomm Plus and have been struggling to find something more compatible with good ol' Meridian Mail. I think I finally found something:

IVT VT220 Freeware

I can access the AX screens, use Function Keys 6 - 10 as on the terminal; ctrl-] exits, no surprises.

I've been a little surprised that no one on the forum has tried this software (that I could tell). If you have I'm curious to hear your experiences.

I get msg "AUX 08 >" on terminal when I enter AX, also on the emulator when I enter AX on the terminal. Probably normal as looks like I can only have one AX instance at a time.

Now I guess I need to come up with a scsi tape drive for this thing..., eeek.
