Thought I would throw this one out to the masses,

We have a number of client telephone lines running through our system, and each client has a separate voice form for things like catalogue requests, product orders.

What we are trying to do is to have a generic voiceform that callers can go to in order for us to call them back at a prescribed time.

The problem that I have is distingushing what client the call is from without asking the customer.

Does anyone know a way to get this information into the voice form, such as recording the called number?

Someone suggested i may be able to do somthing in symposium, does anyone know a way?

hmm tricky. Don't think that there is a way of doing this all into one voice form other than asking the caller to leave a name and number. Meridian mail voice forms, as far as I'm aware, doesn't leave the callers details. unless you hve one for each customer

You could try it as a standard mailbox and see if it picks up the callers number?

Also be aware of who will be dialling into the mailbox and clearing the callback requests you'll need a cast iron process to deal with this, our customers get right tetchy if they don't get called back when we've said...

maybe investing in this kind of thing??

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
