Meridian Mail SEER Printer

Anyone have any tips on setting up a dedicated SEER printer for Meridian Mail? We have a serial cable from the Meridian Mail to the printer. We have Meridian Mail configured for the printer, to route the SEER messages to the printer, but no luck. There are only two specific printers listed in the NTP. Do we have to use one of those two?

i've always used a plantronics off of the printer port, but that said, why? 90 percent of the seers are useless. i check the seers once a month or so, looking for lamp audits that didn't work and non users that were forwarded to mail. it was eaiser to handle those reports in a software txt then yards of usually light print.. the old tractor feed printers seldom were maintained properly
