Meridian Mail OTM - cannot ping IP addresses

We are attempting to setup OTM on an Opt 11C PBX. We have a static IP address connected to the PBX. We can ping the IP address of the PBX active ethernet link from the onsite network, connected to a Cisco switch, which is connected to our Corporate network in a different location, but we cannot ping the address from the Corporate location.
Does anyone know the basic step by step configuration for the OTM setup.
