Meridian Mail / Option 61 Auto DNS pickup

I have question, I have just taken over an option 61 switch and have noticed that when the user presses their message key the voice mail system asks them to put in thier extension. I believe there is a way to "passthrough" the DNS digits to the voice mail system so the user only has to put in thier password.

If anyone has an asnwer to this I would gratly appreciate this.

yes you can make your class of service auto-play, and auto-log if you want. just make your mb, personel then use the more detail key to modify it. on my phone you touch the msg. key and she starts reading your new mail. another thing, if your calling from your ext. just press # when she asks for your ext #

If you are calling from the dn that is your vm box just press # and she will ask for your password. If you also associate (in Mail)their roll over or other dn on their set, then the user can call mail from that key and do same. If the dn is not associated in mail, then user must enter box number and password...
