On Sunday we had a pretty good storm here in which the mail went down. I came in on monday and performed the following steps:

LD.48 disl aml 9
Removed the mail card and reinserted. Let the system boot up to security check.
LD.48 Enl aml 9 acms

The system boots up fine and stays up until Tuesday it shut down in the morning. I performed the same steps and wow im a hero again.

But Tuesday night i dialed in and the mail was down again at 11pm so i enabled and in the morning the mail was down again i just enabled it..

I think it might have been surged in the storm..Anything i missed?

It dosent sound like you are missing anything but my question is does the aml link just fail or does the hole mail system fail that you have to reboot it to bring it back up
