Hi all,I need to do the following on MM. Press 1 do something, press 2 do something, press 3 go to another greeting that then offers 2 menu choices. I know how to do the usual with 1 greeting with menu items. The part I am not sure of is how to go off of menu item 3 to another greeting that then allows another menu. Is it possible to direct a menu item to another menu altogether? Thank you. If it werent for you guys I think I would have pulled my hair out by now. Thank you for all your help.

Actually I am at home and just had a thought.I can make a phantom number have menu id 3 forward to that number then set up under the phantom number the two extra menu items.Does this sound correct? Thank you and I appreciate this forum so much.

I think it's one of the choises.

where you have AS for Announcment Service, or CL to Call Number, try putting MS to send to Menu Service and then it think it will ask for another menu number.

just build new menu services and in the choice field, where you can put cl for call or em etc, just put ms and it will ask for the service id, and you don't need phantoms, if my dial is 2222 then my ser id is 2222, then if i want choice 3 to give me more options my next service id would be 22223, etc, not burning numbers and making it easy to follow

Hi,how do I put in a long distance number with CL that needs an authorization code? When I add the code on to the long distance number I get nothing, not even dead air. When I dont I get the tone to enter a auth code including when I try the line from an outside phone. 91xxx-xxxx123.Any ideas? Thanks very much.

hi again, the MM doesnt allow for a comma to be put in. Is there some other symbol used for "wait." thank you

thank you for answering. what is spre? excuse my igorance.

not something that the mail can dial, in general options of the mail you'll need to define the delay digit, you can use * for a delay if it's defined...but the best way to fix your problem is set the mer mail agents (acd phones) with a ncos that doesn't require a account code...

As always John, thank you. I like your quick fix with defining the pause in MM but its better if I learn the better way.I am scared to do anything with acds as a result of the symposium and my lack of knowledge.I guess I dont need to worry about symposium as long as the phone isnt acquired on it; correct? Please tell me how I would set up an acd with a ncos that doesnt require acct code if you have time.I appreciate it.Thank you

Under General Administration, General Options I do not see anything for that. The following is seen under features but I cannot actually select them. Please tell me where to define the *. Thank you.
