Meridian mail lighting mw lights on phones

I have a meridian mail system that is lighting the light on a phone but that account has no messages. I have completed a search on the message waiting DN but only came up with her phone. I think that another account or Menu Service is doing it but I can not find it. Does anyone have an idea how I find the source?

r there any other numbers on the users phone that are marped to it. if so they could be the cause.

I checked the MARP. There are other lines on the phone but they are not MARPED to that set. Only key 0 and key 1 are MARPED.

run a report on the marped keys. Maybe the key 1 which is probably a non did rollover was built as a mailbox at one time. We have had that problem on our switch before.

Excellent idea, I checked and no accounts came up with the non DID number

did you try reseting the phone? (disu, enlu) probably won't help, but it never hurts to try.

The reset cleared the light for about 1 minute then it came back.

Okay, first question. In the voice mailbox for 5501, what extensions do you have listed?

Second question. Is there possibly a separate voice mailbox in your system for 1361?

Thanks McGruff753, I checked the non DID 1361 in MM and found nothing. I checked vm account 5501 and there are no extension dn's no revert and the mw is set to 5501.

Not the revert DN, but the extension lines. You can usually add 4 or 5 extensions in one voice mailbox. Also, does 5501 only appear in that one voice mailbox?

And, does 1361 or 5501 appear on any other telephone? If so, print those out as well.
