All - At one of our customer sites, a user can retrive VM from internal callers but on external calls that leave messages, the vm system says "message cannot be open at this time". Also, please take a look at the system status screen and give me your opinion on what's going on. According to the manual, you can't enable/disable an MSP node. I'm thinking of trying a reboot of the VM. It's in an Option11. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

The MMail does have some issues. I think your idea of a reboot sounds fine, but do you have an up to date backup. I would attempt that before doing anything else. If you are going to reboot MMail, I would suggest trying to do a courtesy down & make sure you diasable the AML link 1st or you will probably INI your M1.

I can't say if a recent back has been done as we've just taken this site over and are still learning the in & outs of it. So, the procedure would be to do a courtesy down, then disable the AML link, then reboot? Or what would be another suggestion if a recent backup isn't available?

I would do the courtesy down then dis the AML. Maybe some of the other tech guys might like to offer an opinion as it's 5 years since I've done any hands on & I'm rusty. The issue with not having a backup is what if it dies on you. I've had plenty of old card mails where when you power them down they never come back to life. If you don't have a backup, then I would recommend making sure you document the setup, eg voice id table, menu's, security settings etc. This is a mission so I wouldn't envy you having to do this.
