I have an attendant console that is constantly on night service so that my administrative staff can hit "pick up" from any phone and answer the call. However, it rings on a bell which I find annoying and cheesy for a hotel. How do I program it so that instead of ringing on the bell, it rings to phones at the desk (which we can all hear) and still hit pick up from any of the other admin phones to get the call?

Thanks!
Mike

First the to phones on the desk need to have the same
extension-number for both to receive the calls.
Then you must change the NIT number in the NIT-DATA block
to this DN, E.G.: NIT1 xxxx where xxxx are the DN
of the two phones on the desk.
Then to pick-up the calls from other sets, just use
normal CallPickUp.
To program this you need to do this on the TN's of
the two desk-phones:
1. RNPG yyyy (the number on the group)
2. CLS PUA (alow PickUp on this set)
Then on the sets that will pick up the calls you
need these to steps and then a PickUp Key, like this:
3. KEY x RNP yyyy (use KEY x to PickUp calls in group yyyy)
Now when a calls comes in to the console that is in
night posistion, the calls get forwarded to the desktop
phones and can be answered there or get picked up by one
of the other sets in the group just by lifting the
handset and pressing the Key you defined as RNP.
