Need some information on how the MM unit works in our Option 11C. The MM harddrive (2 GB SCSI) is very noisy and has crashed numerous times. Rebooting just MM will restore voicemail...until it crashes again. Our vendor is uncertain as to what is involved in replacing this drive. He is checking with Nortel Tech Support. Questions...can just the drive be replaced and is everything stored on this drive including the MM software and the voicemail accounts? Is there a way to back-up this drive before it dies? Any info will be greatly appreciated because it is becoming a "situation" with management!
