Meridian mail - greeting to greeting? 1

hi all, is it possible to with MM have a greeting automatically switch to a secondary greeting (ie. "today is dec 7 (end 1st greeting)there are currently no system outages, press 3 to speak to tech(end of 2nd greeting)." Thank you for any help
 
yes in a menu service you can record a greeting and menu options.. sounds like what your looking for

your right on that, build a as, use that for the the lead announcement, put your menu service as the revert dn, fi you need the commands let me know

From the mail main menu
3 Voice Administration
4 Voice Services Administration
1 Voice Services-DN Table
add the number your going to dial as an "as"
3 Announcement Definitions
add the as, record and use your menu service as the revert

if you start with a test number, xxxx, you can build and test this without the users knocking on the door..
