Meridian Mail COS?

HI!

Right then, what I would like to know is;

Where are the Meridian Mail options set?

I can change the COS for users mailboxes but I don't know how to change the COS for 7000. Currently a thru-dial to PSTN is available from dialling 7000 to access voicemail and pressing 0 (Attendant) then dialling the external number. I don't want that from the main mail facility. Some indiviual mailboxes do have this feature for various reasons. But 7000 should not have this facility.

Any help would be appreciated.

look at the dial thru def that will determine digits allowed after accessing the mail, if other voice services use the same dial thru, you'll need to add more then one

Thanks for that. There is only 1 thru-dial defined. The Mail is not using that thru-dial config as it it will only allow 4 digit extensions to be dialled. Even if there were another thru-dial configured, I don't know where this would be stored. Would it be using the 'Standard' Voicemail permissions? When I say 'Standard' I'm referring to the voicemail service type (i.e. Standard or personal).

no you set rest/per tables and all voice main service need to be in voice mail dn table, in a mer mail from the main menu it is option 3 4 1, 7000 may be going to a menu service, if your set up for dial by ext, that is a thru dial, and is allowed in the ms for 7000
