Meridian Mail Commands

Hello, working on not so urgent problem but wanted to know if there is answer to this question. When playing Meridian Mail 13 Messages, Logged in and no new messages: press 2 - current message plays first. Now it plays the old messsages first according to complaints. User manual states; to play the current message, press 2 and go to next message, press 6. We cannot locate area to correct the message sorting system wide, or is there a way a user can sort their messages?

I believe it is operating correctly. If there is no new message you are at the begining of your mailbox.
