Greetings,

I had a Meridian Mail hard drive fail and unfortunately there is no backup, original media or tape drive for that location - however I do have a spare identical Mermail card. Can you keycodes be altered so the 11C recognizes the replacement Mermail card? If so what is the easiest method?

Thanks

Word has it, that you can use a floating Call Pilot. If you have one laying around, try it. I'm not sure and was going to try one this week. That's a problem with lack of maintenance on older MerMail. No one ever checks backups, changes tapes, or keeps accurate records. You should always keep the install sheet, install tape, and a current back in a lock box.
