Hi all,

Anyone heard of....

I have 2 ports out of 20 that are allocated for symposium, that show as aquired in symposium, but looking at mail they go from active to idle and back again (user complain of getting requests to login to mailbox...)

If I de-aquire and re-aquire they'll stay nailed up for a couple of days and then go screwy again.

I've logged it out to our maintainer anyway but has anyone come across this. All the maintainer will do is swap out the VP8 mail card.

Make sure that 2 ports for symposium are ONLY use by Symposium not by mail You can’t share ports it’s a BIG NO NO.

They are allocated purely for symposium (separate q from general usage)

Check your MGCR, CSQI and CSQO settings in your PBX (LD 17 - PARM). The default for MGCR is "null" and that will cause this kind of problem. If you have to change it, remember that it requires a system init to become effective.

oky doky

cheers
