Is there a way to ID a 500 set's DN /TN that is programmed as a hotline (HOT D) without having to tone it back to the switch?
Something that can be done at the set?

Thank you but that lists all hotlines programmed in the switch. I need to ID one without a des or cpnd.
Rumor has it that there is a way to stop a hotline from ringing down at the set by dialing like *##* etc after going off hook and then you are able to dial manually.
Ever hear of such a thing?

There is only one way and that is to do some leg work and tone it out. the *##* only works out of a centrol office.

can't you ask who answers it what number is calling?

Thanks,

Buddy
