I am trying to interface a third party programme to the CDR port on a Meridian. I want to analyse the billing output to generate some ad-hoc reports. Can somebody tell me what the default comms settings for this port are?

Cheers, webbo1

I would go to LD21 and check CDR data print it out, and then check your ports in LD22 prt adan data.

Could be 9600/8/1/NONE or 7/EVEN, DCE/DTE, the baud rate may also be from 1200 - 9600.

Some cards have the paramiters programmable and can be viewed in LD 22/PRT/ADAN other cards are dip switched, though combination of the above should work.

webbo1-
Have you been successful in getting the data you need?
I am trying to setup Telecom Billing using OTM CDR setup with DBA buffering and its taking me for a loop.
Any info would help.

Thanks Lynch
