I need to free up a slot for a Universal Trunk Card. Can I move an MFR card or DTR card to another loop? What is the procedure? I need some diversity for my 911 trunks.

DTR is configured in overlay 13 and will respond to MOV cmd.

OK. The system will not alllow a move from one loop to another. Can I add a DTR or mfr to loop 8 then "OUT" the DTR in loop 20 without any effect on the switch opperation?

I'm not real up to speed on DTR, but I thought it serviced the loop it was "in" group wise, do you have a lot of analogue cards in 20 vs. 8? Because that is all it is taking care of, analog tone to dtmf

I only have one analog card and it is in loop 8.

I don't see why you wouldn't be good to hook w/ your plan then.
