Meridian 2616/Octel250 3

I'm trying to locate an issue when rep gets a message on 2616 with octel 250 v/m the rep is not getting message indicator on the lcd display or red LED.Any ideas.

make sure in cls of phone is mwa and key x mwk xxxx

is this just one station? if so that cls mark and key will help. the key is not necessary but works as an auto dial to your mail and shows dark when the msg lamp is on

Make sure message waiting allowed on the Octel voicemail box.
Make sure mwa in cls on digital phone programming.
Try a swap out of the phone just in case it's faulty.
Try to program message key on a different feature key of the phone.
If all else fails, out and rebuild the set.
You can program a MIK key on a digital set for test purposes.
Then press the MIK key and a extension to activate the message lamp on that particular extensions message indicator.
Also you can program a message cancel key. MCK
and cancel message lamps on extensions.
These have been handy for me when troubleshooting.
We have Nortel 81c with Octel/ Aria 250 voicemail.
